Sharbo Maro is a coffee producer in the Mokonisa area of Wenago, Ethiopia. He acquired his farm in 2015, manages it with his sons’ families, and is a member of the Jabanto group.

History

The land has produced coffee for an estimated 130 years. Maro joined Jabanto, formed in 2017 to help Gedeo smallholders independently export and sell coffee, and Counter Culture has purchased his lots since 2020.
