The Gamatui Community consists of smallholder farmers located on the slopes of Mount Elgon in Uganda. These producers work in partnership with the Sipi Falls Washing Station to process their coffee cherries, ensuring traceability and quality control for their harvests.

Farmers in the Gamatui community have maintained a long-standing relationship with exporters and roasters, including a partnership with Atlantic Specialty Coffee and Kawacom that has spanned over five years. They deliver their freshly harvested cherries to the centralized Sipi Falls facility for processing, which helps streamline labor and improve the value of their coffee.
