Triunfo Verde was founded in 2000 as a cooperative of smallholder farmers located in the buffer zone of the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. The women's group within the cooperative has gained recognition through dedicated lots that emphasize traceability and gender equity, with export partners like Azahar beginning to source these specific lots in 2021.
