Yessica Parra

Yessica Parra is a specialty coffee producer based in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, who operates the farm El Mirador. Alongside her brother Diego, she focuses on cultivating specialty varieties and developing unique processing methods. She previously worked as an instructor at SENA, a Colombian public education program, where she taught coffee-related courses.

History

Although raised in a coffee-growing family, Yessica initially pursued other paths before discovering the potential of specialty coffee through her studies and teaching. She eventually introduced her brother Diego to the specialty sector, and together they founded Diwan Coffee. They later left their respective jobs to focus full-time on managing their own farm, El Mirador.
