The story
Aromas De Aniz is a coffee farm owned and operated by producer Jhon Saenz. The farm is located in the Inkawasi Valley near the town of Amaybamba in the Cusco region of Peru. It is situated on the slopes of Mount Chogesafra, adjacent to a large nature reserve.
Challenges
The farm is located at extreme elevations on steep mountain slopes, which presents significant logistical and cultivation difficulties.
Innovations
The farm utilizes a specific 32-hour dry fermentation process for its coffee and focuses on the cultivation of the SL9 variety, which is colloquially referred to as Gesha Inca.
