The story

Las Delicias is a farm owned by Eleane Mierisch, a member of the multi-generational Mierisch family who have been involved in Nicaraguan coffee production for over a century. The family's history in the region began when Bruno Mierisch Boettiger, a German geologist, received land in the mountains of Matagalpa as payment for his work on the Nicaraguan National Railroad. Las Delicias was established as Eleane Mierisch's personal farm, representing a continuation of the family's long-standing agricultural legacy.
