Edward Sandoval
Edward Sandoval is a specialty coffee producer based in Santa Isabel, Tolima, Colombia, who operates the farm Finca Canta Ranas. He is recognized for his deep technical expertise, having transitioned from a career in coffee quality control and agricultural advising to full-time production. He is noted for cultivating a diverse range of exotic coffee varieties on his farm.
History
Sandoval spent many years working as a field technician and quality control cupper for the Federacion Nacional de Cafeteros (FNC). After his tenure with the FNC, he returned to hands-on farming to manage his own operation, Finca Canta Ranas, located in the foothills of the Los Nevados volcano. His farm has since become a source for high-quality micro-lots featured by various international specialty roasters.
