History

Aman Adinew, formerly the Chief Operations Officer of the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange, founded METAD in 2010 to revitalize his family's coffee legacy. The company operates significant infrastructure, including washing stations and dry mills in the Hambela and Gedeb districts. METAD has since expanded its operations to include extensive outgrower support programs.
