Pepe Jijón is a renowned Ecuadorian coffee producer and the founder of Finca Soledad, a biodynamic and organic farm located in the Intag Valley. A former mountaineer and psychologist, he transitioned into specialty coffee production with a focus on environmental sustainability and biodiversity. History

Originally a mountaineer who climbed the Seven Summits, Pepe Jijón purchased his four-hectare farm in 2010 to seek solitude and reconnect with nature. He initially did not drink coffee and began farming based on local recommendations, but his career shifted significantly after receiving international recognition at the 2021 World of Coffee Milan. Since then, he has focused on reforestation and refining his processing methods to produce specialty-grade coffee.
