The Alvarez family is a multi-generational coffee producing family based in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador. They are recognized for their long-standing commitment to growing, milling, and exporting high-quality specialty coffee.

The family's coffee legacy began in 1892 when Rafael Alvarez Lalinde established the original farm on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano. Today, the fourth generation of the family, known as the Alvarez Diaz brothers, manages the neighboring farms of La Reforma and Santa Maria. The family also operates the El Borbollón mill, which has been active as a company since 1985.
