The story

The farm was established by Don Pio Canales and has been in the family for six decades. It is currently managed by the third generation, Daniel Canales' sons Milton, Norman, and Donal, who have transformed former pastureland into a coffee-growing ecosystem in Pueblo Nuevo, Estelí.

The farm has navigated the complexities of the specialty coffee market and the demands of maintaining organic farming practices over several decades.

Innovations

The farm is recognized for its pioneering commitment to organic coffee production, notably achieving the first Cup of Excellence win for an organic lot in 2004.
