Luiz Paulo Dias Pereira Filho is a prominent Brazilian specialty coffee producer based in Carmo de Minas, Minas Gerais. He is widely recognized for his role in elevating the profile of Brazilian specialty coffee globally and for his experimental approach to cultivation. In 2025, he was honored by the Alliance for Coffee Excellence as one of the world's first 'Legends of Excellence'.

Luiz Paulo began his professional journey in coffee around the year 2000. Recognizing the unique potential of the Carmo de Minas region, he co-founded Carmo Coffees in 2007 with his cousin Jacques Pereira Carneiro to promote the region's specialty coffees. In 2015, he established Fazenda Santuário Sul as an experimental farm to introduce global coffee varieties to Brazil.
