The Omran family are the founders and operators of Abana Estate, a coffee farm located in the Oromia highlands of Ethiopia. The family business is managed by Peter Omran and his sons, Michael and Chris, who transitioned into coffee production after years of humanitarian work in Africa and the Middle East.

Abana Coffee was established in 2009 on a 300-hectare plot near Gera. The family's involvement in the region began through Peter Omran's 25-year career in humanitarian aid and development, which eventually led them to start a coffee farm to support the local community. The estate has been exporting coffee and maintaining relationships with international roasters since at least 2018.
