Every link we could verify, traced in one place. Follow the chain as far as it goes — when the industry doesn't disclose a link, we say so instead of guessing.

From the producer

The contributing women growers are not individually named on the public release. Sightglass sources the lot through Siruma Coffee, the Colombia-based exporter founded by Valentina Duque in 2018 to strengthen connections between underrepresented producers and specialty-coffee buyers.

From the roaster

Sightglass presents this as a limited-edition Women of Coffee release sourced through Siruma Coffee from women growers across Caldas, Cauca, and Tolima, with part of the proceeds donated to La Cocina.

Why this coffee is noteworthy

This limited-edition Sightglass series highlights women who manage their farms and directs a portion of proceeds to La Cocina, a San Francisco nonprofit supporting women, BIPOC, and immigrant food entrepreneurs. The release is traceable to three Colombian departments, but not to individually named growers or farms.

The honest process breakdown

WHAT DID THEY ACTUALLY
DO TO THIS COFFEE?

01
What was done

Replaced the thin placeholder with exact current product facts; linked Caturra and washed processing; added multi-region sourcing, price, package size, altitude, roast, notes, and four recipes; cleared the obsolete verification hold; documented the unresolved producer, farm, harvest, and processing gaps.

What was added?

Nothing, as far as the producer has disclosed.

What wasn't added?

No post-roast flavorings of any kind.

In the database. Not tasted. Not scored.

This coffee is in our database because we can reliably document it — but we haven't tasted and scored it yet, and we never publish a score we haven't earned.

Outside reviews and internet discussion — is kept clearly separate from our own review. When we taste it, our full review appears here.
