Sergio Darío Aranda Gómez is a third-generation producer who leads the Aranda Gómez family’s Finca Anaya project in San Adolfo, Acevedo. Onyx credits his production and sensory experience with the farm’s precise fermentation and lot-development approach.
Onyx Coffee Lab presents this Wush Wush lot as a distinct single-origin selection, emphasizing traceability and the specific qualities of the harvest.
A rare Colombian Wush Wush shaped by an explicitly documented 88-hour multi-stage washed fermentation, recirculated cherry juices, thermal shock, and slow covered drying.
WHAT DID THEY ACTUALLY
DO TO THIS COFFEE?
Linked the existing Huila region and specified San Adolfo in Acevedo while retaining the verified Finca Anaya, Sergio Darío Aranda Gómez, Wush Wush, and Washed records.
Added Onyx’s four-stage fermentation and oxidation sequence, recirculated cherry juices, 65–70°C thermal shock, and 18–24-day covered drying protocol.
Recorded the current $38 / 10 oz offer and retained Available status after verifying live inventory.
Cross-linked Finca Anaya to Huila and Sergio Aranda, added Wush Wush to the farm and producer, and removed a conflicting precise farm-size assertion.
Huila and Acevedo geography, 1,600 m elevation, October harvest season, exact fermentation and drying protocol, Moderate/Agtron 127 roast context, current commerce, and official filter and espresso recipes.
No owner score, owner tasting observation, verdict, approval, independent public sentiment score, exact harvest year, formal grade, or bag-specific roast date was added.
The profile now separates verified lot-level process details from farm-wide claims and from the roaster’s own first-party quality score.
Key lime, jasmine, white cranberry, and marzipan according to Onyx.

In the database. Not tasted. Not scored.
This coffee is in our database because we can reliably document it — but we haven't tasted and scored it yet, and we never publish a score we haven't earned.
Outside reviews and internet discussion — is kept clearly separate from our own review. When we taste it, our full review appears here.
What the internet is saying about this coffee
Our research pipeline scanned public reviews, videos, forums and discussions for this coffee (last pass 2026-10-28) and found no independent review of this exact release that meets our verification standards. When qualifying sources appear, they'll be published here.
Exact catalog and discovery pages repeat roaster-provided data but do not supply an independent scored tasting. Onyx’s first-party 88-point green-coffee score and ratings of other Finca Anaya varieties or Wush Wush releases were excluded.
