Sisters Hirut and Mahder Berhanu own and operate Dumerso Washing Station. Sucafina reports that they acquired the site in 2010 and reopened it in 2013. Grace Farms describes the current coffee through the sister-led Dumerso operation and its work with more than 250 farmers.
Grace Farms Tea & Coffee is a nonprofit-owned Certified B Corporation. The organization says all profits support its work to help end forced and child labor.
This release links Grace Farms' sister-led Dumerso sourcing story to the documented washing station and its owners. The page preserves Grace's exact elevation range and cup description without treating station-wide cultivar or process timings as lot-specific facts.
WHAT DID THEY ACTUALLY
DO TO THIS COFFEE?
Grace’s Dumerso producer story says ripe cherries are received at the washing station and the fruit is removed.
The same source describes washing and removal of impaired beans, but the exact release does not publish fermentation or drying details.
Water is inherent in the documented washing step; no other processing input is documented for this exact release.
Fruit, spices, flavorings, commercial yeast, or other inoculated cultures are not documented. Their absence is not inferred beyond the published process description.
The profile distinguishes release-specific facts from broader washing-station context and does not assign undisclosed lot protocols.
Peach, vanilla, toasted oats, and jasmine.
